The Nursing Research Institute of the College of Nursing was established in 1974 as the first research center in nursing in Korea. Research activities are focused on nursing policies related to improving the general health care delivery system and nursing profession.
The members of the Institute strive in their research and training in primary health care to develop and improve nursing policies while working in cooperation with the World Health Organization.
The institute also focuses on various methods of accident prevention and the application of safety to daily life, thus contributing to the establishment of a firm safe life style.
The Nursing Research Institute is made up of the department of general affairs, the department of research, the department of education, and the department of public relations.
The activities of the institute include research, academic education and training, international relations, data publication, and funding projects. The main activities within the Institute are as follows:
